# Illustration style

Our illustrations are story focused. The intention expressed clearly; the symbols are explicit. The style is energetic, minimal and upbeat.

The illustrations composed of the following elements: real objects augmented by flat doodles and basic patterns. Two of these three must be used together.

# Based on reality

Find an object, isolate it from the background, decrease the contrast to ease shadows. You may create a simple composition from several objects.

# Boundaries

If you don't do a full bleed creative then you may use containers to separate the illustrations (e.g. landing page).

Let's put our key into a box.

# Doodles

Keep in mind that you are creating a story. Draw. Doodle. Alter the meaning of the object. Challenge. Be unexpected.

So let's add some birds to our key.

# Patterns

Finally add some pattern to create depth and dynamism.
